Terms & Conditions of Service
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services by AL THE PIEMAN LIMITED to its clients. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Provision
AL THE PIEMAN LIMITED agrees to provide food delivery and logistics services as specified in the service agreement or order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service to any entity that does not meet our safety or quality standards.
2. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are subject to VAT where applicable. Payment terms are strictly 14 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments will incur interest at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum.
3. Liability Limits
AL THE PIEMAN LIMITED maintains comprehensive transit insurance. However, our liability for any single loss or damage event is limited to the value of the delivery contract for that specific event, or £5,000, whichever is lower. We are not liable for consequential losses, loss of profit, or damage to reputation arising from delivery delays beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).
4. Perishable Goods
Given the perishable nature of the goods transported, claims for damage or shortfall must be made in writing within 2 hours of delivery. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the goods in their current condition.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
